left ECW and went to Ted Turners WCW in search of glory. When Jericho First landed in WCW he was one of the companies most
impressive Cruiserweights. Jericho dominated the Cruiserweight division and he captured the Title several times.
Jericho wanted to move into a bigger ball game. Jericho was moving up the ladder swiftly. Jericho firstly won the TV Title
and soon set his eyes on Championship gold. Jericho went out to the ring on Monday night Nitro and verbally assaulted the
Champion Goldberg. The storyline was set between Jericho and Goldberg, but after a lot of backstage politics, Goldberg spoiled
Jerichos push by blatantly refusing to wrestle Jericho, because "Hes too small to become a main-event superstar".
Jericho was furious and left the company. On August 9, 1999 Jericho made an unexpected appearance on RAW is WAR. Jericho
drove the fans crazy, but then he grabbed the mic and did what he is famous for, verbal assault. Jericho talked trash about
The Rock and became an immediate heal.
Jericho went on to prove Bill Goldberg wrong. Jericho became an instant competitor for the Intercontinental Title, so he
won it on several occasions, not only was he one of the best ever IC champs he also went on to win the Hardcore Title and
the Tag Team Championship.
Finally at No Mercy 2001, Jericho proved Bill Goldberg wrong. Jericho defeated The Rock and won the belt that Goldberg
refused to feud with him over, the WCW championship. Not only did he win the WCW Championship, at Vengeance 2001 Jericho added
the insult to injury and defeated The Rock and Austin in the one night and became the first ever Undisputed Champion.
Jericho has done it all in the WWE, but he is still far from the end of his career. In 2003 Jerichos mic skills pulled
off and he became the host of his very own interview segment, which he named Y2Js Highlight Reel. Jericho proved all of his
WCW peers wrong and became something that WCW could not produce.
